Waiting games.

Here is a post about what kids can do while waiting. I also really like the idea of keeping some of these games and activities on hand in the car. You can buy a plain bag really cheap (like a dollar) at the local craft store, and keep some of these activities inside it, that way you always have them when the need arises. I bought a few bags at pat catan's that i want to decorate with the kids... One for the car, one for restaurants, one for library books, etc. If the kids decorate the bags, i am thinking that they'd be excited to cart them around and use them.
